Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-09-17

This policy explains what information Kaasla collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your email and password (stored as a secure hash), the profile details you choose to add — including country, city, whether you hold e-Residency and what you are here for — the content you post, event registrations, and basic technical data such as your IP address for security.

How we use it

To run the service: show your profile and content, suggest relevant people, deliver messages and notifications, send account emails, and keep the platform secure.

What other members see

Your profile, posts, launches and events are visible to other members. Your email address is not shown on your profile. When you register for an event, the host sees the name, email and phone you provide.

Sharing

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Kaasla (hosting and email), or when required by law.

Cookies and storage

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, a cookie to remember your language, and your browser’s storage to remember light or dark mode. We don’t use advertising trackers.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your information at any time, and delete your account from Settings. For any other request, contact hello@kaasla.com.

Security and retention

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords and access controls. We keep your information while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Changes and contact

We’ll post any changes to this policy here. Questions? Email hello@kaasla.com.
